<p>José Javier Abásolo Díaz de Basurto ; Autor de novela policíaca que se ha confirmado como uno de los más sólidos representantes del género en Euskal Herria. Nació en Bilbao (Bizkaia) el 3 de enero de 1957. Ha compatibilizado su tarea literaria con la de funcionario (actualmente -2004- como técnico en la Administración del Gobierno vasco). Su trabajo previo como abogado en los tribunales y secretario en un juzgado de instrucción le familiarizó con ambientes delictivos que utilizaría en su obra</p>
